Reflection

Muhammad Ilhanz Bani bin Jefridin Embarking on my inaugural foray into UI and UX design through the lens of Human-Computer Interaction has been an exhilarating journey. Crafting interfaces that resonate with users has proven to be not just a task but a canvas for innovation and creativity. The thrill of designing UI, weaving together aesthetics and functionality, has added a new dimension to my perspective. This newfound skill set, cultivated through this project, serves as a potent tool for my upcoming endeavor—a groundbreaking application slated for my final project next semester. The fusion of excitement, learning, and the tangible impact on my future projects underscores the transformative power of immersing oneself in the realm of HCI-inspired design. Muhammad Daniel Iqmal bin Dzulkifli Engaging in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) course, our group focused on designing an interface for food delivery apps to address existing flaws and elevate user satisfaction. User Testing

How we conduct usability testing Conducting usability testing for online meal delivery apps, focusing on UI/UX, is like going on a mission to make sure the app is super user friendly. First off, we set clear goals like making sure users can easily find their favorite meals and enjoy using the app. Then, we recruit a bunch of diverse folks who might use the app, so it's like a real-life scenario. We create scenarios for them, like ordering food and giving feedback, and guide them through it, either in person or online.   As they go through the app, we're like detectives, watching closely for any signs of struggle or confusion. We ask them to talk out loud about what they're thinking, like a play-by-play commentary of their experience. We gather both the cool stats, like success rates, and the juicy details, like what they loved or found annoying. It's a mix of numbers and stories. After that, we dive into the data, looking for patterns and issues. If something...

User Research

Explain how you conduct research           The research process for our project involves a systematic approach aimed at gaining valuable insights  into online food delivery applications. We employ various methods to ensure a comprehensive  understanding of the subject matter.      One primary avenue of our research involves the analysis of questionnaire feedback. Through carefully designed surveys, we gather opinions and preferences from relevant stakeholders, including users, restaurant partners, and delivery personnel. This direct input allows us to capture real-time perspectives and identify key areas for improvement or innovation.        Additionally, we stay abreast of the latest developments in the field by conducting in depth research on  current articles and papers. By reviewing scholarly literature and industry publications, we gain access to  the most up to date information, trends, and best p...
